1st site of the day, LIBERATION WAR MUSEUM will be visiting, where liberation movements and war related artifacts, document and pictures have been housed. This Museum tells you a tale about 'the valor, saga, long path of bloody movement and 9 months long devastating war of Bangali nation.
Nation achieved a independent country through sacrificing millions life in the liberation war of 1971, to conclude a long time movement against discrimination, suppression, torture, conspiracy and brutal autocracy. At the end of the Liberation War Museum's visit you will be moving to see the next site

A marvel of the the modern architectural history, Bangladesh national assembly house. Creator of this marvel is an American architect, louis I kahn who born in former Soviet state, Georgia. Kahn has designed this architectural splendor in 1961. Critics' remark; it is a poetic vision of the architect, louis I kahn, which prominently features in the top few of the ten top buildings' list of the world. Architecture techniques of Bangladesh National Assembly House is an important studies for the student of architecture.

Son of emperor Arungojabe, prince Muhammed Azam was third viceroy of Dhaka for 15 months, Viceroy felt then the necessity of building a fortresses residence for the viceroy of Suba-Bangla.To implement prince plan, in the 1678 AD he start fort construction on the bank of the Buriganga River.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________4th site of the day, DAKESHWARI TEMPLE Dhakeshwari is not only a single temple but a complex of temples and there are five more Shiva temples in this premises. Those Shiva temples have a character in design of Arkans Pegoda . Few historians believe those temples were founded in the 11 th centuries AD. Their time of temples building might have been assessed by the temple related myths.

6th site of the day, CURZON HALLBritish Raj had adopted partly of Mughal's people welfare policy in order to rule India. Adoption of Mughal legacy in the rules of British Raj had been created a new trend in architecture, which was then revealed in fusion design of European and Mughal architectures. Such fusion's influence is presence in design of many British buildings of that time in the subcontinent. Same type of architectural design is seen in 'Curzon Hall's building.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________7th site of the day, STAR MOSQUE is an exquisite star motive mosque of early 19th centuries, Locals named as Sitara Masjid, is not dated by any inscription. It is known that one Mirza Golam Pir, whose ancestors had come to Dhaka and settled in Mohalla Ale Abu Sayeed (present-day Armanitola), erected it. Mirza Golam Pir died in 1860, and hence the date of construction of the mosque may conveniently be placed in the first half of the 19th century.

It is a historically significant architectural monument situated in the Armanitola area of old Dhaka. The church bears testimony to the existence of a significant Armenian community in the region in the 17th and 18th centuries.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________9th site of the day, AHSAN MANZIL situated at Kumartoli of Dhaka on the bank of the Buriganga, was the residential palace and the kachari of the nawabs of dhaka. It has been turned into a museum recently. It was said to be the Rang Mahal of Sheikh Enayetullah, a zamindar of Jamalpur pargana (Barisal) during the time of the Mughals. Having purchased it from his son Matiullah, the french made it their trading centre. Khwaja alimullah bought it from the French in 1830 and converted it into his residence, effecting necessary reconstruction and renovations. Nawab Khwaja abdul ghani engaged Martin and Company, a European construction and engineering firm, to make a master plan for their residence and next followed by a walking tour of Old Dhaka, Shankhari Bazar.
